Shawn "Flexatron", "Jamaican Muscle Machine" Rhoden (born April 2, 1975) is a Jamaican American IFBB professional bodybuilder. 
He is the current reigning Mr. Olympia champion and winner of the 2018 Mr. Olympia after defeating seven-time Mr. Olympia champion Phil Heath.

Professional bodybuilder and IFBB Pro who's best known for his second place win at 2016 Mr. Olympia. He's previously taken third at 2012 Mr. Olympia,
 fourth at 2013 Mr. Olympia and third at both 2014 and 2015 Mr. Olympia.

Before Fame
He was a soccer player in his teens before he was inspired to get into bodybuidling by Mr. Universe, Yohnnie Shambourger in 1992.

Trivia
He earned his IFBB Pro card in 2010 after suffering several injuries and alcohol problems during his amateur career.

Family Life
He was born in Jamaica, Rhoden, but immigrated to the U.S. in 1990 and moved to Maryland.

Associated With
He and fellow bodybuilder Shawn Ray have both taken third and fourth place finishes at Mr. Olympia.

Early life
Born in Jamaica, Rhoden immigrated to the United States in 1990 and settled in Maryland. He went through a period of alcohol addiction following his father 
Lloyd's demise in 2002 but overcame it with help from his friend Lenore Carroll.

Career
An aspiring soccer player in his early teens, Rhoden started bodybuilding in 1992 with inspiration from former Mr. Universe Yohnnie Shambourger and,
 after an amateur career ruptured with several injuries and alcohol dependence, won his IFBB Pro card by 2010.
 He was the 11th at the 2011 Mr. Olympia (Mr. Olympia debut), 3rd at the 2012 Mr. Olympia, and 4th at the 2013 Mr. Olympia competition. 
In 2014, Shawn Rhoden took 3rd place at the 2014 Mr. Olympia competition and again 3rd place at the 2015 Mr. Olympia. 
Rhoden followed up in 2016, with a 2nd place finish at the 2016 Mr. Olympia. In 2018, Rhoden became the new Mr. Olympia replacing Phil Heath. 
He is the oldest bodybuilder to win the title, at the age of 43, the second being Chris Dickerson.
